The club’s failure to land a frontman after pocketing £75m selling Lukaku to Manchester United sparked tension between Koeman, director of football Steve Walsh and Goodison chairman Bill Kenwright.
Injury-hit Carroll, 28, joined Hammers from Liverpool four years ago having spent 18 months at Anfield following a £35m move from Newcastle.
He missed the start of the season with a groin problem but made his comeback in last month’s win over Huddersfield.
Carroll has 18 months left on his £110,000-a-week deal and West Ham could be prepared to look at a cash deal if they get the right offer in January.
Everton face Burnley on Sunday having won just twice in the Premier League this season.

Even when he's fit he's shit. One of the worst techniques I've ever seen. He really needs to be told "look Andy you're good at been a target man and winning stuff in the air, but you are painfully shit with the ball at your feet, stop trying to dribble past players"

Non-story. If Everton want him he'll have to show he's over his injury problems and if he shows he's over his injury problems we won't want to sell him.
He's just had his two worst performances in a West Ham shirt in a team that is on its arse confidence-wise. Why don't we add Antonio into the mix as well as he's had two shit games too?
When Carroll is fit and firing ask any opposition fan who they most fear in a West Ham shirt. Most of them will say Carroll.

With our luck, this story has legs BUT……..
Surely you have to factor in if Koeman will still be there in January?
Drop more points against Burnley today and given the money he has spent and the current demands from club bosses, his head will well and truly be on the block.

gph , delboy the guy will score goals or have shots, he is a striker and the team , when he plays, is set up to feed him.
That is the problem, setting up that way is obvious and he rarely plays.
The danger really is that he strings 10 games together, scores 3 or 4 goals and then gets a new bumper contract because the club fear losing him for free...
....and the we spend another 5 years wondering if he might be fit the coming season.
Go let him be someone else's superstar that has potential to be world class and might just score a few goals and is good in the air.

Not only has he been an absolute fucking drain on our finances given his appalling appearance record, for us to get some dough back would be excellent, but more than that, it would allow us to move on from being that team in the league that relies solely on a player who completely changes the way we try to play as a team. When he starts, our go to ball is long, and that HAS to change.
Literally take their collective arms from their shoulders.

He has had on good season in the championship and about half a good premier league season. The bloke is a myth and the sooner he has gone the better. The security guard chasing the pitch invader showed more pace than him. He is fucking rubbish.

I think he is a very good player but his presence turns the rest of our team to shit. Creswell and Ginge are the worst culprits for constantly launching long ball up to him. It's such a shame that Sakho is injury prone and mental as he has the opposite effect.

Sadly these days, with all the injuries, Carroll is so much on the back foot. Constantly 10 yards behind the ideal position, never on his toes making a run to get in ahead of his marker. Marker goes to the ball, Carroll hangs back hoping for a miracle.
This lack of ability to be on the shoulder of the defenders is what makes him end up trying to play football in midfield. He's not very good at it unless he's got a ludicrous amount.of time and then when he releases it, he's already 20 yards behind play with no hope to catch it back up.
